FaithSafe Consulting is a church safety and security consulting firm dedicated to helping ministries create safe, prepared, and welcoming environments for worship. We partner with churches to strengthen their safety culture through practical guidance, thoughtful planning, and training tailored to the unique needs of ministry settings.
Our approach recognizes that churches are places of worship, fellowship, and outreach. Safety measures must support the mission of the church while protecting the people God has entrusted to its care. FaithSafe works alongside church leadership to develop clear policies, establish effective safety teams, and implement procedures that are both responsible and ministry-focused.
Services include campus safety assessments, policy and SOP development and review, safety team development and training, personal pastoral protection development and training, and ongoing support to help churches maintain readiness and confidence in their safety programs.

About Our Founder
FaithSafe Consulting was founded by Kyle Battin, who brings more than 20 years of experience in law enforcement and security along with a deep commitment to serving the local church. Throughout his career, Kyle has worked in roles focused on protection, emergency response, and operational planning, developing practical skills in risk assessment, policy development, and team leadership.
Kyle has been both TCOLE and Texas Private Security Bureau instructor certified, with extensive experience training individuals and teams in safety, security awareness, and responsible response. His background includes two years of service as an EMT with a 911 ambulance service, providing frontline emergency medical care and responding to critical incidents in high-pressure environments.
In addition to his professional background, Kyle spent five years serving as a full-time associate pastor, where he worked with youth, led men’s leadership development, provided pastoral care and guidance to individuals and families, and helped develop and support church safety initiatives. This combination of public safety experience and pastoral leadership gives him a unique understanding of both the operational realities of safety planning and the mission-driven culture of churches.
Through FaithSafe Consulting, Kyle works with church leaders to plan and implement effective safety programs, including campus safety assessments, policy and SOP development, safety team formation, and ongoing training. His approach emphasizes practical solutions that help churches protect people while maintaining a welcoming and ministry-centered environment.
Kyle’s goal is to equip churches with the structure, training, and confidence needed to steward the safety of their congregations well, allowing ministries to continue their mission with wisdom, preparedness, and care.
